Our Story.

Guide Fabrics Inc. has thrived since our foundation in 1961. Our family-owned business services the garment industry and has expanded into floral, theatrical, event planning, as well as a number of other industries. When it comes to customer service, there’s no detail too trivial or miniscule. Whether it’s a large order, a quick turnaround time, or a consumer need that’s off the beaten path, Guide Fabrics has taken supreme pride in efficiency and dependability for the better part of six decades.

Since 1961

Our expansive inventory is stocked daily and accessible via our storefront and online, located at 262 West 38th Street, where clients are given undivided, personal assistance by our seasoned professionals, those of whom recently celebrated 30 years with the company. At Guide Fabrics, we pride ourselves on being a place for employees to build a life with and, for our business partners, provide the touch of a neighbor or friend. Our late president and owner, for almost four decades, Brian B. Kramer, established an oft-observed, if unofficial, mantra for Guide Fabrics: Here, it’s never just business, rather a family.

We offer an extensive variety of linings and interlinings, obtainable by the yard and wholesale. Some of our linings include Polyester Stretch, Poly Spandex, Polyester Habutae, Bemberg Rayon, Bemberg Twill, Interlock, and Polyester DT Satin, all available in a rainbow of colors. Our top interlining products comprise of both fusible and non-fusible knits, as well as wovens and non-wovens.

We also offer overseas shipping to any location, to any type of operation, large or small. For any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call or stop by our office. We would love to work together and talk about what we can do for you.
